Hello! My name is Joel Schafer and I graduated this May from the University of Montana with a bachelor's degree in physical geography and a GIS certificate. I have always been interested in maps and mapping, so GIS is a perfect fit for me. I look forward to continuing in this field.
I also graduated with a B.A. in geology in 1997. I was a geologist in the energy sector for twelve years before returning back to the University.
